About us

The Mixed Methods International Research Association (MMIRA) Global Student Chapter is the student arm of MMIRA. Our mission is to support and promote the use of mixed methods research among students worldwide. We strive to create a community of student researchers, providing opportunities for networking, mentorship, and professional development. Our goal is to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for the integration of qualitative and quantitative methods in research. We provide access to various initiatives, including webinars, workshops, conferences, and online resources, to enhance the research skills of our student members and to contribute to the advancement of mixed methods research. Our Student Chapter welcomes students from all disciplines, backgrounds, and levels of experience who share a passion for mixed methods research.

MMIRA: Global Student Chapter was founded in October 2023 with the goal of providing a platform for student researchers to connect, collaborate, and learn from each other in the field of mixed methods research. The Chapter emerged due to the need for a dedicated community for student researchers within the larger MMIRA organization. Since its inception, the MMIRA: Global Student Chapter has included members from universities and research institutions around the world, with a diverse range of backgrounds and research interests.
